"On the 12th April 9 scouts and 2 leaders from the District travelled down to the West Midlands to make history, our wee district team were the first Scottish Scouts to take part in the Scouts Inter-County Team Shooting Competition.
With only two months training they took on some of the best established shooting teams in the country and conducted themselves fantastically, they all gained a wealth of experience and amazing memories, as leaders we couldn't have been more proud.
Although unfortunately we didn't come back with any silverware on this occasion, we made some fantastic contacts as a team and have been invited to other events down south so watch this space."
