We are delighted to announce that Sarah Lintott is our new District Lead Volunteer. 🎉
Sarah has spent 15 years volunteering, first in Clackmannanshire District as an Assistant Cub Leader. Over the years, she has served as an acting Group Scout Leader, an ADC (Adult Training), and an ARC (Adult Training).
She moved to Dunbartonshire four years ago, becoming the District ADC (Adult Training) before taking on the role of Deputy Lead Volunteer.
During her time with Scouts, Sarah has camped in Zambia, attended and supported several "The Howling" camps, and helped hundreds of leaders to gain their Wood Badges.
Sarah said: “I’m honoured to accept the role of District Lead Volunteer, and I look forward to working together with all of our volunteers to strengthen our District, foster better communication, and create more opportunities for our young people to gain new experiences, meet new friends, and build new skills.”
James Cumming, Regional Lead Volunteer, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Sarah into this role. Her dedication, experience, and passion for Scouting will be invaluable in guiding Dunbartonshire forward. We look forward to working with her and seeing the positive impact she will make, building on the tremendous foundations laid by her predecessor Barbara.”
