Will you join us to celebrate Scout Pride at Edinburgh Pride on Saturday 21st June? Our Inclusion & Diversity Lead for Dunbartonshire is organising a contingent to attend from interested members & volunteers across the District.
We plan to leave from Helensburgh Central where we will travel by train to the event. (Timings & more information will be emailed to participants) Please note that travel costs will not be covered, and participants will need to cover this themselves.
This unique event is a great opportunity to show that Dunbartonshire Scouts is open to everyone regardless of gender identity or sexuality. We are inviting any Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Scout Network and Adult volunteers to join us in the parade.
Please be aware that any Scouts & Explorers must be accompanied by an adult (preferably a parent or guardian) who will be responsible for them during the event. If a group wishes to attend with multiple young people, they must conduct a risk assessment to determine the appropriate number of accompanying adults needed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all young people attending.
